Helping Community Shine

Happy Boxes Project

Happy Boxes Project is a charity that aims to spread generosity and kindness to women in the most remote and isolated Indigenous communities of Australia.

These communities don’t have access to even the most basic personal hygiene or body products.

Happy Boxes sends these women boxes with beautifully hand chosen sustainable body and hygiene products.

Why? Because women in our own backyard are going without basic toiletries.

Accessibility to simple items like deodorant, shampoo and soap prove challenging when the closest store can be up to 1000km away.

Some communities can be cut off for months at a time with flood waters, while others can be hundreds of kilometres away from anything, with only red dirt roads.

Some communities are only accessible by boat or plane, and they may be lucky enough to have a local store but the prices for items are exuberant.

Happy Boxes mission is to provide women, regardless of their location and situation, the pure enjoyment of life’s little luxuries that we regularly take for granted.

Matriarchs are the backbone of these communities, Mothers, Sisters, Aunties, Grandmothers; all supporting their families in adverse circumstances, quite often pouring from an empty cup.

  • No-one should be going without; through generously providing these women with essential items we all help support them in shining.

Maya Rose is dedicated in supporting the ongoing incredible work Happy Boxes does; for every piece of jewellery sold we support Happy Boxes continued work across Australias Indigenous Communities.
